Mustangs' Emma Dedushaj Selected as Region 15 Division II Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Month

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Emma Dedushaj of Monroe University – New Rochelle has been selected as the Region 15 Division II Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Month.

In 24 contests during August/September, Dedushaj anchored the Mustangs' defense with 551 digs and averaged 6.8 digs per set during that time. 

The sophomore libero produced 45 digs at Southeastern Community College on August 23 and 45 more defensive bumps at Richard Bland College on August 30.  

Dedushaj has generated at least 30 digs during five matches this season and has led her team to a 19-6 record so far.
