NJCAA Announces Women's Volleyball All-America Teams

NEW YORK – The NJCAA released its All-America teams for women's volleyball on Tuesday afternoon.

The NJCAA All-Americans representing Region 15 can be seen below. 

Division II Women's Volleyball

Emma Dedushaj (Libero) – Monroe University (New Rochelle)

Division III Women's Volleyball

Cherlialix Carmona (Outside Hitter) – Monroe University (Bronx)

NJCAA Third Team All-America

Juun Shin (Setter) – Fashion Institute of Technology

Jenna Ramlogan (Libero) – Nassau Community College

Dedushaj anchored the defense for the Mustangs this year with 857 total digs, while averaging 6.30 defensive bumps per set. The one-time NJCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Week also helped on offense with 83 assists and 58 service aces. In 2025, Dedushaj led the Mustangs to regional and district championships plus a berth in the NJCAA Division II Tournament. 

Carmona set program single-season records with 339 kills and 411.0 points, while also producing 226 digs and 65 service aces for Monroe - Bronx. The Region 15 Player of the Year and three-time Region Player of the Month helped lead the Express to their fourth consecutive district title and a berth in nationals.

Shin helped FIT by registering 509 assists during the year. The All-Region first-team honoree produced 40 assists in a match twice and at least 30 assists in six different contests. Shin led all players in Region 15 with 7.17 assists per set. The sophomore setter helped FIT earn a national ranking as high as No. 12 during the year.

Ramlogan's strong year helped lead Nassau to the Region 15 Regular Season Championship. The All-Region first-team recipient produced 367 digs during the season. She produced at least 20 digs in a match 10 times this season, including a career-high 34 digs against LaGuardia Community College in the Region 15 Quarterfinals on October 30.
