Dutchess and Monroe - Bronx to battle for Region 15 Division III Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday

SELDEN, N.Y. – The Region 15 Division III Men's Basketball Semifinals took place on the campus of Suffolk County Community College on Saturday evening. 

The top-seeded and defending champion Dutchess Community College Falcons defeated the #5-Seed Hostos Community College Caimans, 90-66. 

#3-Seed Monroe University – Bronx Express earned the win over the #7-Seed SUNY Sullivan Generals, 80-63.

The Falcons will battle Express for the Region 15 Championship and an automatic bid into the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. The title game will take place on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. It's a rematch of last year's regional title game which was won by Dutchess.
