Division II Women's Basketball All-Region Team Announced
NEW YORK - Region 15 has announced the 2025-26 NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-Region team. The selections were determined by a vote from all the head coaches.
The two major award winners are from Westchester Community College.
The Region 15 Player of the Year is Saniya Bell.
The Region 15 Coach of the Year is Bobby Rodriguez.
Both Bell and Rodriguez led the Vikings to the Region 15 Championship and a berth in the District Tournament. Bell scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds in the regional championship game. Westchester has earned an impressive record of 19-8 so far this year and went undefeated in regional play.
