Suffolk County to Compete in the JUCO Softball World Series Beginning on Wednesday

SELDEN, N.Y. – The Suffolk County Community College Sharks punched its ticket to the NJCAA Division III JUCO Softball World Series by defeating Community College of Rhode Island in both games of the Northeast District Championship Series back on May 9. The scores were 14-2 and 5-1. The contests took place at Winslow Field up in Warwick, R.I. 

The Sharks will now play Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in the opening round of the NJCAA JUCO Softball World Series on Wednesday at Carrier Park in Dewitt, N.Y. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
