Nassau Community College Head Coach John Jordan Named 2023 Region XV Men's Golf Coach of the Year

Garden City, New York - After a dominant 2023 season, Nassau Community College Men's Golf Head Coach John Jordan received 2023 Region 15 Coach of the Year accolades.

Jordan led the Lions to an impressive run during the 2023 season, producing Region 15 Player of the Year Kevin O'Rourke and five All-Region 15 First Team selections, including O'Rourke with Brett Shields, Brody Wynne, John Cosenza, and Michael Cafaro, also earning the honor.

Jordan's Lions squad also captured the 2023 Region XV Championship with a two-day total score of 636 (319 on day one and 317 on day two) from May 18-19 at Wiltwyck Golf Course with O'Rourke leading the way with a round of 74, then following it up with a 76 on day two. Wynn and Caffaro were also crucial to the effort registering totals of 156 and 162, with Wynn registering the best score on day two with a round of 74.
