Ulster Community College Captures 2024 Region XV Men’s Golf Championship

Middletown, New York - The Ulster Community College Men's Golf team won the 2024 Region XV Championship with a two-day total score of 701 from May 15-17 at Wallkill Golf Club.

The Senators were led by Adam Williams, who had the best total of all golfers at the Region 15 Championship, leading all competitors on day two with a round of 80 after an opening round of 91. Ulster Community College's Joe Manginelli and Vlad Olenski both tied for a third-place finish out of all the 15 golfers, posting totals of 176. Ulster Community College's Jesse Rodriguez came in fourth with a total of 178 after posting the best round on the opening day with an 87.

Liam Parker was the top golfer for Orange County Community College, qualifying for Nationals and finishing second overall amongst all individual competitors with a total of 175. Nassau Community College's Michael Cafaro and Chris Smith of Rockland Community College were the program's top finishers, with a two-day total of 176. Smith also qualified for Nationals as the only golfer during the Region Championship to break 90 both days with a day one score of 89 and a day two score of 87. Ben Newburg was Sullivan's top finisher with a total of 189.
