Nassau Community College Lacrosse's Christian Maisel Captures NJCAA Lacrosse Player Of The Week Honors

Charlotte, North Carolina - After burying a career-high four goals during No. 2 nationally ranked Nassau Community College's 11-6 victory over Howard Community College Lions, sophomore midfielder Christian Maisel received NJCAA Lacrosse Player of the Week accolades.
Maisel joined two other Lions to record multi-goal games during their 11-6 victory over Howard C.C. last weekend, scoring in every quarter, including a man-up goal at 9:23 of the third quarter to help Nassau pull away. The Amityville, New York native also recorded six shots and had one ground ball in the contest.
Maisel is second on the Lions with 17 goals and third with 21 points this season. He has recorded a goal in all eight games for Nassau and has registered four straight multi-goal games, including two hat tricks in the last four contests.
The NJCAA Men's Lacrosse No. 2 nationally ranked Nassau Community College carries a four-game winning streak into a battle of last year's 2023 National Championship Game against Harford Community College this weekend at home on Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m.
