#3 Nassau Lacrosse Tops #4 Onondaga

Result
The #3 Nassau Community College men's lacrosse team defeated Onondaga Community College by a score of 17-6 on Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened
- In the team's first game against a nationally ranked opponent this season, Nassau came out firing with five unanswered goals in the first quarter before Onondaga scored their first with 22 seconds remaining.
- Onondaga scored first in the second quarter, before Nassau answered back with three more. The Lions led 8-2 at halftime.
- Jake Lewis scored a man-up goal just 17 seconds into the third quarter, as Onondaga still had a penalty from the first half.
- Jack Lepore then scored four consecutive goals to widen the gap for Nassau at 13-2.
- Onondaga scored a man-up goal with 5:05 left in the third after a Nassau slashing penalty.
- After ending the third quarter with a score of 15-4, both teams netted two more in the fourth quarter for a final score of 17-6.
- Nassau took 46 (33 SOG) total shots, compared to 25 (19 SOG) by Onondaga.
- As a team, Nassau shot 72% on goal.

- Jack Lepore led the team with seven goals and three assists, for 10 points, along with six ground balls.
