FIT Men's and Women's Swimmers Top All-NJCAA Scholar All-America Teams

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the Fall 2014 Scholar All-America Teams this week.Both the men's and women's swim teams were awarded the honor, as both teams topped all other NJCAA programs.
The men completed the Fall 2014 semester with an average GPA of 3.32.Only one other team, SUNY-Delhi, made the list, with a GPA of 3.16.The FIT women eclipsed the men with a GPA of 3.45.Indian River State College (3.42), Monroe Community College (3.04), and Iowa Lakes Community College (3.02) were also recognized.
The CSCAAScholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams that have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America.The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
