Monroe College Mustangs Men's Track And Field Picks Up Two First-Place Finishes In Season Opener At Towson Invitational

Towson, Maryland - The Monroe College Mustangs men's track and field team put forth a strong effort to begin their 2024 season headlined by two first-place finishes in the individual 400-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relay on Friday at the Towson University Invitational at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
Mehdi Guerrah kicked off the day, grabbing first place in the 400-meter hurdles amongst a competitive field of 18 runners. Guerrah clocked in with a time of 54.98 seconds and missed the qualifying time for the 2024 NJCAA Div. I Outdoor Track & Field Championships by two seconds.
The Mustangs 4x400 meter relay team of Chazz Alexander, Zeemarley Felix, Omari Sewell, and Guerrah closed out Friday with authority, taking first place overall with a winning time of 3:22.69.
