Monroe College Women's Track And Field Hold Strong At No. 9 In The USTFCCCA NJCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Index

New Orleans, Louisiana- The Monroe College women's indoor track and field squad held strong at No. 9 in the USTFCCCA In The NJCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Index.
Kayla Johnson put together another excellent outing at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Open at The Armory last week, qualifying for the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 800-meter run and setting a new personal-best time in the event.
Her new personal best of 2:14.98 improved her qualifying time for the NJCAA Indoor Championships as she placed 13th out of 72 runners.
Headley also competed with Johnson in the 800m, posting a time of 2:25.11, less than three seconds off the qualifying standard for the NJCAA Indoor Championships in her first attempt in the event.
