Aleishka Diaz Receives NJCAA Division III Offensive Player Of The Year Honors

Charlotte, North Carolina - After an outstanding week that saw her smash 30 kills in the two victories for Monroe University – Bronx freshman outside hitter Aleishka Diaz received NJCAA Division III Offensive Player of the Week accolades. Diaz makes it back-to-back seasons that the Express women's volleyball program has produced NJCAA Division III Players of the Week after All-American Lisanel Rodriguez received the honor last season.

Diaz posted two straight double-doubles last week during the Express's four-set and five-set victories over Region 15 opponents Rockland Community College and Westchester Community College, posting 13 kills and 18 digs against the Hawks and 17 kills and 19 digs against the Vikings.
