Elizabeth Wagner Named Fall SUNY Scholar-Athlete of the Year

By The Nassau Community College Athletics Department

Elizabeth Wagner, a standout women's volleyball athlete at Nassau Comunity College, has been honored with the prestigious Fall SUNY Scholar-Athlete of the Year award for the 2024-2025 academic year. This recognition highlights Wagner's exceptional athletic achievements and academic dedication.

Throughout the fall season, Wagner has demonstrated extraordinary performance, as she received NJCAA Second Team All-American honors to go with winning Region XV First Team and Setter of the Year honors. Her play helped propel the women's volleyball team to a Region XV Championship and National Tournament appearance.

However, Wagner's excellence extends beyond the playing field. As a dedicated student, she has maintained a 3.83 GPA while pursuing a rigorous academic course load in accounting and business administration. Her ability to balance the demands of collegiate athletics with academic achievement showcases her great work ethic.

Congratulations to Wagner for this well deserved achievement!
